Replicator Manager

Sie sind hier:

1. Introduction

The Replicator Manager is a new feature in Maileon that enables real-time copying of mailings, contact filters, events, and more from one account to another.

This tool is primarily designed for users who manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

The interface is available at replicator.maileon.hu  and can be accessed after registration.
To register, please contact us at support@xqueue.com and we will be happy to help you.
After this step, you can easily log into the interface.

On the Dashboard, there are two login options (fig. 1):

  • Maileon Account Administration, and
  • Replicator Manager

Note: Only admins can create users.

2. Maileon account administration

This interface displays the accounts associated with each team, but only for admin users. Basic users will only have visibility into the accounts assigned to their team.

Create an account in just a few simple steps (fig. 2).

Note: Team options are available to admins only; for users, the Team previously assigned to the account will be used automatically.

Enter the Account Name and the API key.

The API key refers to the API key of the Maileon account, which should be generated directly within the account.

Select Account Type optionally. Primary accounts are the source accounts from which data can be copied. Replica accounts are the target accounts that have already received copied data (fig. 3).

Both types cannot be used at the same time. The accounts will remain editable at other stages of the process.

3. Replicator manager

This section is the core of the Replicator Manager, responsible for copying resources from the primary account to the replica accounts.

It displays different resource types in tabs to simplify navigation.

As a first step, select the primary account you want to copy data from by clicking on Select an account (fig. 4).

Fig. 4: Select the desired primary account.

After selecting the primary account, click Update Resources. This step is required to access the available resource types (fig. 5).

Note: This step should be performed before each login; however, any resources you have created will remain after each update.

Fig. 5: Click ’Update Resources’ to access available resource types.

Multiple resources can be selected with just a few clicks.

Once the appropriate resources have been selected, the Select Replica Accounts window will appear at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to choose the target accounts for resource replication (fig. 6).

Note: Multiple accounts can be selected at the same time.

Fig. 6: Select replica accounts for resource replication after choosing resources.

After selecting the replica account(s), click Copy Resources (fig. 7).

Fig. 7: Click ’Copy Resources’ after selecting the replica account(s).

After copying, a green pop-up window indicates if the resources have been successfully copied.

If the copy process fails, a red pop-up message will appear, providing information about the reason for the failure (fig. 8).

Fig. 8: Green pop-up indicates copying success.

Additional steps may be required if certain resources have different dependencies, such as with Marketing Automation or contact events.

For example: Triggering a Marketing Automation process requires a specific contact event. Therefore, the process will only be copied to another account if a marketing automation process is selected. With this step, the related contact event will be selected and copied as well.

4. Resources

The status indicators behind the resource elements indicate the statuses existing in the account (fig. 9).

Once an active mailing is copied to another account, it will retain its status in the target account. All original statuses remain unchanged.

Fig. 9: Resource status indicates current account states.

Note 1:
All types of mailings and marketing automations can be freely copied within this system, but only those created using the new editor (UI2).

Note 2: The Replicator Manager checks the mailing name. If a user attempts to copy a mailing with the same name as an existing one – regardless of whether it is in draft, active, trash, or archived status – the system will prevent copying due to the naming conflict.

To resolve this, we recommend either completely deleting the mailing with the same name from the replica account or, as a potentially simpler solution, renaming the mailing in the primary account before initiating the copy.

Note 3: After copying a landing page, you must always set the URL path in the replica account. Without it, unfortunately the page will not work. However, once you specify the desired path for the page in the replica account, it will function there as expected.

Note 4: Before using any resources in the replica accounts, we recommend double-checking that everything appears as expected, since various dependencies could affect the outcome.

If something doesn’t work as expected, or if you have any questions regarding the Replicator Manager, feel free to contact us at support@xqueue.com. We’ll be happy to assist you!
