DOI Mailings

General information

The double opt-in (DOI) process requires the registrant to confirm their identity and registration in a second step. Unlike single opt-in (SOI), DOI is a legally secure method of registration. Once registered, the registrant receives an emailing with a confirmation link. Registration is only completed by clicking on the link.

The display of DOI Mailings is analogous to Trigger Mailings and can be accessed via Mailings in Maileon. There are three submenu items within the section:

• Active DOIs
• DOI drafts and
• DOI History

In the following pages, we focus in detail on the DOI Drafts, where DOI Mailings are edited and precisely configured, the Active DOIs, where all activated DOI mailings are listed, and the DOI History, where all deactivated DOI mailings are stored.
